We stayed at Hotel Indigo Vinings with our kids and went to a couple of Braves games. The hotel is clean, quiet and in a safe area. The STAFF was exceptional especially Brenda at the front desk. Not only did she offer suggestions on where to eat, she took us to the restaurant in the shuttle during a time that the shuttle wasn’t technically running. She is a gem! And so is the hotel!

Brenda was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! She was kind, generous, knowledgeable about the area and amenities. She even helped with a mini personal crisis my partner had during our stay. After our first hotel cancelled our room for late arrival, due to our flight being delayed, we were anxious about our Atlanta experience. Brenda took all of that away. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the overall experience, the music and vibes, the staff, cleanliness, everything was spot on! Thank you guys for an unforgettable stay. I will be booking with you all for all my upcoming Georgia travels!

Disappointing stay

This hotel is not run well. The rooms are in need of some TLC. The mattress saggs in the middle. The iron was broken. The air conditioner had to be turned off because the exceptionally loud noise would wake us up every time it would kick in. We told the front desk and they did nothing. I stay at IHG hotels often and got a room with 0 view. The bathroom has cheap toilet paper and bulging paint. I know there are little things but sometimes, when you are away from home, it’s the little things that matter.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Very friendly staff. Very clean updated rooms o beautiful relaxing grounds. Location is great with lots of restaurants and bars. On site bar and restaurant has limited hours but good service, food and surprisingly good draft beer selection for a small bar. My only complaint was no fridge or microwave in room. When I asked they said they are in process of renovation and they will be added to rooms Very soon. There is a kureg coffee maker in the room and k cups were provided. Would definitely stay here again. Right up the street from Home Depot corporate (I work for HD) so if have a business trip I'll definitely stay here. Highly recommend Meehans Irish pub across street for lunch or dinner or just a few pints

No regard for customers with medical needs

The hotel itself is cute, the rooms are clean and spacious. Great location. But the service is terrible. Completely unorganized and dishonest. First, I found out upon arrival that many rooms do not have refrigerators. As a diabetic who relies on insulin literally for survival, I needed refrigeration. The man at the front desk assured me this was not a problem (which it never has been, at any other hotel), and looked me in the eye to tell me he'd keep it in the staff fridge behind the front desk. The next day when I asked for the insulin because it was time to change my pump, it was nowhere to be found. Another man nonchalantly shrugged and told me the fridge that had been in the staff room was now moved to a guest room. He said the insulin was most likely thrown out. I was supposed to be at a business dinner in less than an hour at this point (this was now 5:00 pm on a Friday). But instead, I found myself frantically dealing with insurance (insulin is $500/vial if purchased before I could renew it) and waiting frantically at CVS for a new one. In the meantime, someone else called my room and left a message with the colleague I was staying with that not only would they reimburse me for the medicine but would also refund my entire stay. Wait for it though, it keeps going. For my 6 hour drive to the hotel, I kept my insulin in a pouch with an ice pack. After I returned from CVS I asked yet another front desk person whether my ice packs were still in the freezer--she assured me that yes, she had seen them with her own eyes. She also assured me that she'd be speaking to her staff about not throwing people's medicine away. Upon checkout 2 days later, the ice packs were returned to me--totally melted and at room temperature. This would mean the vial of insulin I had JUST worked so hard to replace would now be ruined because it couldn't be chilled. My room was not reimbursed (and still, 6 weeks later, after MULTIPLE unreturned calls to the hotel management and to accounting has not--and obviously never will be), nor was my medicine reimbursed. Luckily insurance did cover that, so it didn't cost me much. The only thing the hotel did do for me was comp my breakfast, which was never even mentioned. I've never once had trouble like this at any hotel--it's clear that the workers do not care about guests...WHO would think it's ok to throw out insulin?? And who would be so careless as to not even put a note on it that it belonged to someone? While I have no control over where I stay for business trips, I myself will never choose to stay at a Hotel Indigo again.
